When I first became involved in investigations, I was told that being in this business doesn’t make you any friends. Criminals will be angry that you foiled their plans, an embezzler will hate you for catching them taking assets from a church collection basket, a son will be enraged you caught onto his string of local robberies, etc. Well, a couple years into the business as a rookie PI, I learned that I had several enemies.
My first thought was, “Wow, I’ve never had a fan club before.” Maybe I should open a Facebook page.
